Granted Advocacy Partners, Inc. (GAP) is a non-profit advocacy group dedicated to providing resources to those in need.
Our mission is to make a measurable difference in the quality of life for foster youth in the DFW Metroplex.
What We Do
Our communities’ future leaders will come from all types of families; however foster children face unique challenges that require additional nurturing. By providing foster children with consistent support, we can empower them to grow in confidence to become happy, balanced, and successful leaders themselves.

The Birthday Card Initiative
This initiative provides a personalized birthday card and gift card to foster children to recognize them on their special day. Each month, GAP sends personalized birthday cards with a gift card enclosed to youth in the foster care who are celebrating their birthday. Helping kids to celebrate themselves and experience the joy most children confidently expect, is just one of many ways GAP enriches the lives of foster children we serve.

Foster Youth Tutoring
The average child in custody moves an average of eight times per year. As a result, even the best students fall behind in school and need additional assistance. Granted Advocacy Partners, Inc. provides extra help to foster children who are behind in school due to the instability of foster care. GAP connects middle and high school students to educators, so they don’t just graduate, but excel.
GAP is also in contact with partnering organizations in North Texas who help foster children who have aged out of the system transition successfully to adult life.
Our goal is to equip and empower foster children to be successful in their educational pursuits. This will help them to emerge with the confidence, skills, and knowledge they need to flourish and soar.
